GCSE · One-to-one online tuition

Online GCSE Maths Tutor

Clear, patient tuition for students who want to close gaps, become more confident with unfamiliar questions and approach their GCSE with a reliable method.

Students at any stage of GCSE Maths, from those rebuilding foundations to confident learners working towards grades 8 and 9. Lessons can support an entire course or focus tightly on a few difficult areas.

Build fluency with algebra, number and proportional reasoning

Translate worded questions into a workable mathematical plan

Connect topics instead of learning isolated procedures

Improve accuracy, timing and exam technique

We identify what is causing each error, rebuild the underlying idea where needed, then practise applying it in increasingly unfamiliar questions. Past-paper work is used deliberately, not as a substitute for understanding.

Lessons are taught live online using a graphical tablet. The written working is shared as a PDF afterwards, giving you a clear record to revisit.

Frequently asked questions

Practical details.

Which exam boards do you cover?+

I work with students following AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Cambridge courses, adapting examples and past-paper practice to the relevant specification.

Can lessons focus on one weak area?+

Yes. Tuition can be organised around a specific topic, a set of recurring errors or broader preparation across the course.

Is tutoring suitable for students aiming for top grades?+

Yes. High-performing students benefit from deeper problem-solving, careful reasoning and practice with less familiar multi-step questions.
