I have tutored more than one hundred students in the UK and worldwide, from school learners building confidence to undergraduates working through demanding mathematical physics.

My academic background gives me depth across the two subjects, but the purpose of that depth is clarity. I want students to understand why a method works, how ideas connect and what to do when a problem does not look familiar.

Teaching style

Lessons are collaborative and visual. I write and sketch live on a graphical tablet, use diagrams and carefully chosen examples, and adapt the pace to the student rather than a predetermined script.

I have worked with AQA, OCR, Cambridge and Edexcel courses, supported gifted students preparing for competitions and adapted lessons for students with dyslexia. The common thread is individual attention.

After each lesson, the handwritten working is supplied as a PDF. Students leave with both a clearer idea and a useful record of how we got there.
